Strategic Advisory

Strategic advisory is designed to help organizations identify their next measured step. This work extends beyond a single conversation and typically includes one to two weeks of focused discovery, where we examine the organization across key functions and priorities. Through a series of targeted discussions and working sessions, we synthesize our findings into a clear, structured view of the path forward.

Strategizing is not about reacting to short-term trends. It requires stepping back, understanding the broader context, and setting priorities with intention. We work with leadership teams to establish clarity on what matters most and how to move forward in a way that is both deliberate and achievable.

In environments where expectations continue to accelerate, organizations often need to move forward without disrupting what is already working. Our approach allows leaders to realize the value of a clear strategy while maintaining operational stability. As part of this work, we also help document key processes and decisions, creating a foundation that supports continuity, onboarding, and long-term execution.

Program & Project Delivery

Ferana Advisory provides program and project delivery support for organizations working to move important initiatives forward. This work focuses on helping strategy translate into real progress inside the organization, particularly in environments where priorities compete, teams are interdependent, and conditions continue to shift.

In our experience, one of the biggest challenges for an organization is not defining a strategy, but executing on it once the work begins. Competing priorities, resource constraints, shifting direction, and misaligned stakeholders all contribute to work slowing down over time, and these dynamics tend to occur naturally within most organizations.

Managing these constraints becomes a responsibility in itself, and it often extends beyond coordinating tasks or applying a delivery approach. It requires staying close to the work as it unfolds, understanding how decisions are made, and recognizing where momentum begins to slow.

When it comes to executing on strategy, the work is not limited to managing timelines or tracking progress. It involves understanding how people engage with the initiative, including their motivations, concerns, and level of alignment with the work, and then connecting that back to the broader objectives so that progress is not dependent on process alone.

Process & Experience Design

Ferana Advisory applies process and experience expertise to map, evaluate, and redesign organizational process flows, enabling the improvement of how work moves across the organization and how it is experienced by the people involved. This work focuses on understanding how processes operate in practice, not just how they are intended to function. It often spans multiple areas, including internal operations, external communications, product and application experiences, and how teams interact across systems, with the specific focus shaped by the structure and needs of the organization.

How work flows through an organization—and how people experience that flow—has a direct impact on outcomes. The way an organization operates influences more than efficiency—it affects how people collaborate, make decisions, and stay aligned over time. When processes and experiences are clear and workable, teams are better able to maintain momentum and adapt as conditions change.

This work can take different forms, including requirements gathering, process documentation, journey mapping, and synthesizing personas. These approaches may be used individually or in combination to build a clear, unbiased view of how your organization operates, which then informs where adjustments can be made to improve how work flows and is experienced.

Testing & Deployment

Testing and deployment are where delivery becomes real. Ferana Advisory manages the full lifecycle—from structured testing through production release—either as your primary quality resource or alongside your existing team. While testing is often treated as a single phase, in practice it spans a wide range of activities that require discipline, attention to detail, and consistency to get right.

This includes managing test cases, writing and executing test scripts, facilitating system integration and user acceptance testing, and ensuring defects are identified, understood, and resolved appropriately. When testing is approached with the right level of rigor and at the right moments, it reduces misalignment, limits assumptions, and prevents issues from compounding later in the process.

We pair testing with deployment because the two are closely connected. Deployment is not just a technical step—it is the transition into real-world use, where preparation is tested under actual conditions and gaps that were not visible earlier begin to surface. We support that transition directly and remain engaged beyond go-live through hypercare, change management, and end-user support to ensure the work lands as intended.

Salesforce Solutions

At Ferana Advisory, our work focuses on helping organizations make practical decisions within the range of organizational needs versus platform capabilities. Salesforce introduces a wide range of options across data structure, configuration, and product selection, and early decisions in these areas tend to shape how usable and sustainable the system becomes over time. In our experience, building around the technology rather than the people and processes is a slippery slope.

Salesforce is one of the most capable platforms available to organizations today, which makes it easy to overextend its use. The gap between what the platform can do and what an organization actually needs from it is where many implementations begin to lose their value. This is why we initially focus on simplifying what has already been built, not adding to it, so that the platform supports key organizational operations rather than competing with them.

We approach the platform with restraint. Many organizations arrive having purchased more than they need, adding complexity and/or redundancy without improving how work actually happens. We help clients step back from that, evaluate what is necessary, and make trade-offs in a way that keeps the system solution aligned to how the organization operates rather than how the platform is marketed.
